We are currently working with one of our clients based in South Cambridge who are seeking a Financial Accountant to join their team on an initial 6-month contract. This role is office based and would suit an individual with proven experience in a similar reporting or technical accounting position.
Typical duties include:
- Preparing statutory accounts accurately and within required deadlines
- Supporting external and internal audit processes
- Producing financial reports and ensuring compliance with UK GAAP
- Assisting FP&A teams with analysis and insight when needed
- Preparing budgets and forecasts, and delivering insightful variance analysis
- Undertaking additional ad-hoc tasks to support the wider finance function
You will have:
- A recognised professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
- Strong attention to detail and solid understanding of accounting principles
- A robust technical accounting skillset
- Ability to manage your own workload effectively
