- A passionate and knowledgeable Geography specialist.
- A proven track record of successfully delivering Geography at GCSE level is essential.
- The ability to create engaging, challenging, and differentiated lessons.

- Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
- Help staff grow: Create and put in place a plan to develop department staff, setting clear goals each year based on how they're currently performing.
- Improve teaching: Develop and share excellent teaching methods across the school to help all students achieve more in the subject.
- Boost results: Keep and improve how well students do in the subject by using new and creative ways to check their learning.
- Update what's taught: Develop and manage the introduction of new or changed course content.
- Support other teachers: Help develop teaching skills in the department, offering support when needed.
- Offer extra help: Plan and run extra learning sessions before or after school to support all students' progress.
- Learn and lead: Show a commitment to your own and others' professional growth by participating in and leading training.
