With a strong presence in the region, they are seeking a dedicated Legal Support Assistant to enhance their litigation team's capabilities and client service.Position Overview:We are currently recruiting a Legal Support Assistant to join a busy Litigation team based in Newbury. The ideal candidate will support solicitors by efficiently managing administrative tasks and assisting with litigation-related activities. Previous experience as a legal secretary or support assistant in litigation is highly desirable.Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately setting up new case files based on solicitor instructions.
  • Preparing bundles for court trials and hearings.
  • Managing client communications and providing updates on case progression.
  • Digital dictation transcription.
  • Conducting relevant legal research.
  • Maintaining and updating document management systems accurately.
  • Coordinating diaries and providing general administrative support to the team.
  • Liaising with barristers, courts, and third parties to arrange meetings or follow up on court orders.
Requirements:
  • Ideally 2+ years' administrative experience in a legal litigation environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team and build strong professional relationships.
