PM Group is looking for a Procurement Manager to join a global biopharmaceutical client in Surrey.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project planners, estimators and engineers to forecast procurement needs (procurement plan)
- Manage tendering process including preparation, bid evaluation, clarification and selection
- Negotiate terms and conditions including delivery timelines, warranties, penaltiesand payment terms
- Monitor contract and supplier performance against contractual obligations
- Track commitments, variationsand invoices to control costs along with Linesight cost controllers
- Maintain complete records of procurementactivities, contracts and communications
- Identify procurement risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Manage procurement related changes and claims in co-ordination with project control teams

Requirements
- Previous level of experience in a Procurement Manager or Lead role
- Knowledge of supplier contracts, suppliers relationship and contracting communities
- Ability to negotiate
- Ideally have worked in the Pharmaceutical industry or similar
