Education Personnel are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Science teacher for our partnership school to join a supportive and high-achieving Science department starting in September 2025.
This is a fantastic chance to make a real difference in the lives of students, guiding them through the fascinating worlds of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
About the Role:
As a QTS Science Teacher, you will be responsible for:
- Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and differentiated science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially Key Stage 5, depending on your experience and the school's needs).
- Creating a stimulating and safe learning environment that encourages active participation and inquiry-based learning.
- Utilizing a variety of teaching strategies and resources to cater to diverse learning styles and ensure all students make good progress.
- Assessing, recording, and reporting on student progress in line with school policies.
- Contributing to the development of the Science curriculum and resources.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues within the Science department and across the school.
- Maintaining high standards of classroom management and student behaviour.
- Contributing to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities or pastoral support (desirable).
What We Are Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- A strong degree in a Science-related subject.
- Excellent subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
- A passion for science and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Proven ability to plan and deliver effective and engaging lessons.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A commitment to continuous professional development.
