Senior Specifications Technologist£35,000 - £38,000 + Benefits + Hybrid/ Remote workingLocation - Bala, North Wales (Commutable from: Wrexham, Oswestry, Conwy, Mold, Shrewsbury, Llanrwst)We're working with a rapidly expanding food manufacturer who are looking to recruit a Senior Specifications Technologist to join their dynamic technical team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in a business that supplies major UK retailers.

This is a hybrid role with an option to work up to 3 days on site and two days from home following a probationary/training period, or totally site-based if preferred.

The purpose of the role is the completion of retailer, customer, and own brand specifications, including: Sainsbury's, Tesco, Co-op, Aldi, Morrisons, ASDA, Lidl, Premier (Hamilton Grant), and any others as required. Management and administration of the retailer systems and supporting members of the specification team.

The ideal candidate will be a well-organised individual able to use their own initiative to meet tight deadlines, working both as part of a team and individually. This person must be able to clearly communicate internally within the teams and departments as well as with retailers and 3rd parties via both verbal and written means. Must be fully IT literate in the Microsoft package.The Role:

Create and manage accurate product specifications across various retailer platforms
Maintain and update retailer systems with relevant product and technical data
Support and mentor junior team members
Liaise with internal departments, retailers, and third parties to ensure information flow is accurate and timely

Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Able to work independently and manage tight deadlines
Strong communicator - both written and verbal
Confident working cross-functionally and dealing with external contacts
Fully IT literate, especially in Microsoft Office applications
