Head of NPD - Responsibilities and Requirements

  • Must have proven experience within New Product Development
  • Must have experience within the food industry
  • Collaborating extensively with customers and various departments
  • Ensuring that concept to launch process is implemented according to plan
  • Will use root cause analysis techniques to troubleshoot and solve problems effectively
  • Strong understanding of customer code of practice, food legislation, shelf-life result interpretation and legal requirements
  • Manage a trial team, testing and refining new product ideas
  • Consistently ensuring that quality and safety standards are met
  • Experience within the food industry essential
  • Strong stakeholder management skill, providing feedback regarding better practices and ways to enhance
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong communication skills
  • Will be highly flexible, competent and adaptable in approach
