We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Breakfast Chef for our 5* hotel in Aberdeenshire. You’ll be surrounded by a team with a creative flair and a passion for fresh food and brilliant service with a desire to learn and grow. All striving to go beyond for guests, our team, and the community.

Duties:

• Cooking and Managing Breakfast Service: Oversee the preparation and cooking of breakfast dishes, ensuring guests receive a delicious and memorable meal.

• Food Preparation: Undertake a varied list of food preparation tasks daily, ensuring all mise-en-place is freshly prepared and on time.

• Kitchen Setup and Cleanup: Set up the kitchen before breakfast service and clean down the kitchen after service, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene at all times.

• Stock Management: Ensure all stocks are kept under optimum conditions and assist with inventory management.

• Quality Control: Ensure all dishes are prepared to the correct recipe and quantity, maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.

• Guest Interaction: Collect feedback from guests during breakfast and report any complaints or issues to the Executive Chef.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other kitchen staff to maintain a smooth operation, treating all staff with fairness and courtesy.

• Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to health & safety policies and regulations, including HACCP and other legislation.

• Menu Development: Assist with producing menus and new dishes, staying updated on breakfast trends and innovations.

• Time Management: Handle pressure calmly and professionally, especially during busy periods, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of dishes.
