Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm
Salary: Up to 35,000 (DOE)

A leading multi-modal freight forwarding and logistics company in Northern Ireland is seeking an experienced Freight Forwarder to join its expanding operations team.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage shipments across multiple transport modes (sea and air )
• Arrange bookings with carriers and third-party logistics providers
• Prepare and process shipping and customs documentation
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing regular updates and solutions to any issues
• Monitor shipments, ensuring timely delivery and handling any delays or disruptions
• Maintain accurate records in line with company procedures and compliance standards

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in a freight forwarding or logistics role (multi-modal experience desirable)
• Strong knowledge of transport documentation and customs procedures
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to prioritise workload and work to tight deadlines
• IT proficiency, including use of freight management systems and Microsoft Office
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a commitment to customer service excellence
