Responsibilities
Design innovative products primarily using 3D CAD software to meet client specifications and industry standards.
- Develop detailed designs and prototypes ensuring manufacturability within plastics or engineering fields.
- Collaborate effectively with engineering and manufacturing teams to refine designs.
- Utilize AutoCAD or Autodesk Inventor to produce precise technical drawings and documentation.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant quality and safety standards.
- Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback to improve product quality.
Qualifications
- Background in plastics or engineering disciplines relevant to product design.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD design, especially with AutoCAD or Autodesk Inventor.
- Strong understanding of product development processes and materials.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with multidisciplinary teams.
