This job is involving deliveries of items as fridges, washing machines for 2 people team and 38kg. max items for 1 person team.
Drivers: You will need your own van at least 3.5t (LWB).
Drivers helpers: Provisional Driver License.
Payments:
1Person Team Driver - £162.80
2People Team Driver Van - £176.80
Drivers Mate - £103.50
20% additional on top of your wages if you are VAT registered.
Weekly payments straight to your bank account Fridays.
One week in arrears.
Working pattern:
Working up to 6 days a week with flexible scheduling (Monday Saturday and Sunday from April)
Routes planned to be finished within the 9 hours block.
Start time estimative: 2P 6:40am & 1P 6:10am;
No. stops: Variable based on volume, starting from approx. 20-45 stops
Delivery area: 40-75 miles within depo location (but can vary depending on demand).
Fuel:
We cover your business mileage.
Approx. £0.20/mile (business mileage)
Fuel card available if requested.
What You Need:
A full UK or EU driving license Drivers
Provisional driving license - Helpers
Not more than 6 points on Driver License.
Ability to pass a background check.
Charge of DBS/BGC/BKG check £49.00 (deducted out of 1st payment)
Responsibilities:
- Operate a heavy delivery van to transport goods safely and efficiently.
- Ensure timely delivery of bulky items while adhering to traffic regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to maintain safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and requirements.
- Handle heavy lifting and loading/unloading of items, ensuring proper handling techniques.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and manage paperwork as required.

As a Delivery Driver for Heavy & Bulky items, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries to our customers.
