What You Will Do:

  • Fully machine complex components using 3-axis and 5-axis VMCs, ensuring precision and quality.
  • Load offline programs and collaborate with the production engineer to optimise setups.
  • Maintain high standards of quality and ensure on-time delivery of machined parts.
  • Save all programs and setup sheets after each job for future reference.
  • Assist shift leaders and engineers with tooling or material requirements.
  • Keep workshop and machines clean while adhering to safe operating practices.

What You Will Bring:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within small batch or prototype manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with Matsuura, DMG, or Colchester machines is advantageous.
  • A working knowledge of Heidenhain and Fanuc controls.
  • A background in industries such as Motorsport, Aerospace, or R&D.
  • A proactive, flexible, and well-organised approach with excellent communication skills.
