Your Mission:As a Production/Machine Operative you will be working in a small friendly enthusiastic team in a high-pressure environment whereby enthusiasm, a keen eye for detail and a strong team spirit are required. This role can offer career advancement into a Leadership role should the successful candidate seek career progression.

The Client:A family hands-on business where everyone pulls in the same direction! With over 39 years of expertise, our wonderful client is a leading provider of specialised print and finishing services working with some of the biggest brands worldwide.

The Position:

  • Set up and adjust printing equipment based on job requirements, including loading materials, adjusting settings, and monitoring the production process.
  • Monitor the printing process to ensure quality control and adjust as needed to maintain consistency and accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with printing equipment to minimize downtime and maintain workflow.
  • Follow correct machine operation, safety procedures, and quality standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance on printing machines to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
  • Checking inventory of printing supplies and materials, and report as needed to support production requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Document production data, job specifications, and quality control measures for reporting and record-keeping purposes.
  • Report faults and escalate where appropriate.
  • Manual handling duties including box creation, presentation folders etc

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Must be able to demonstrate a stable employment history
