Are you an experienced finance professional looking for your next step? We’re recruiting for a hands-on Finance Manager to join a growing business based in Banbury. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the day-to-dayfinance operations, managing a small team and playing a key role in the company’s financial processes.

Please note this is a full time, office based role in Banbury.

The role:Reporting to the senior leadership team, you’ll oversee the finance function, covering all aspects of:

  • Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
  • Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Statement reconciliations
  • Assisting with month-end and year-end processes
  • Supporting financial reporting and audit preparation
  • Streamlining processes and driving improvements where possible

You’ll lead a small, supportive team and will be someone who enjoys getting involved in the detail as well as keeping an eye on the bigger picture.What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in a finance role covering AR, AP, and reconciliations
  • A background in managing or mentoring small finance teams
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
  • Comfortable working with accounting systems and Excel
  • A proactive and hands-on approach
  • Experience assisting with month-end and year-end processes
  • A relevant accounting qualification (AAT, part-qualified ACCA/CIMA, or equivalent) would be an advantage but is not essential
  • Duty deferment management
  • Cash flow forecasting
  • Process improvement and automation
