Position: Shunter DriverLocation: BanburyDuration: Adhoc holiday cover throughout June & JulySalary: Days: £14.20 / Nights £17.57p.hPertemps are looking for a Shunter Driver to cover a various adhoc holiday dates for our client based in Banbury using a Tug unit.Duties will include:" Reporting to the Shift Manager" Being responsible for the safe movement of trailer units" Manoeuvring both laden and unladen trailers around the site, onto storage or loading bays" Using a Tug unit" Coupling and uncoupling of trailers" Adhering to strict Health & Safety guidelines and company proceduresTo be considered for this role you will need to live within a 30-minute commute of Banbury and have the following skills, qualifications and experience:" Must hold an HGV 1 UK driving licence (Cat CE)" Experience using a Tug Unit is an advantage." Must have at least 180 days experience driving a Class 1 vehicle in the UK in the last 2 years." Have a maximum of 6 points for minor offences, no DR or IN endorsements, for insurance purposes."
