Simply Education is working in partnership with a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school in Banbury, seeking an enthusiastic and committed Maths Teacher to join their dynamic department. Whether you are an experienced educator or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), this is a fantastic opportunity to inspire a love for mathematics in students across Key Stages 3 and 4. The role offers flexibility, with both part-time and full-time positions available depending on your availability.



About the Role:

As a Maths Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons across the Maths curriculum, tailored to meet the needs of all learners.

  • Support students in developing confidence and competence in numeracy and problem-solving.

  • Plan, assess, and track progress to help all pupils reach their potential.

  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment with clear expectations and strong behaviour management.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and contribute to curriculum development.



What We're Looking For:

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you should:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or be an ECT with a Maths specialism.

  • Have experience teaching Mathematics at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential).

  • Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and excellent classroom management skills.

  • Be adaptable, organised, and dedicated to continuous professional growth.

  • Be passionate about inspiring students and making Maths engaging and accessible for all.

Please note: All successful candidates will be required to provide two years of references and complete an enhanced DBS check. The role is subject to satisfactory safeguarding and background screening.
