Job Title: Business Teacher (GCSE level)
Salary: MPS.
Location: Banbury, Oxfordshire
Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Start Date: September 2025
Role Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable business teacher to join the team. This permanent role is perfect for someone passionate about how businesses and their processes have changed and shaped the world today, encouraging engagement in lessons, resulting in meeting or exceeding target grades.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and effective business lessons in line with the national curriculum.

Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share teaching strategies.

Participate in school activities and events.

Build positive relations with each class to encourage engagement.

Communicate with parents about behaviour if necessary and on parent’s evenings.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Experience teaching business at the secondary level.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to inspire and motivate students.

A commitment to continuous professional development.
