Software API Developer - Hybrid - Salary £50k (DOE)
We are currently working with a growing SaaS company based in Oxfordshire, who have an exciting opportunity for a Software developer experienced with C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET to join their growing Agile Development team.
You will be designing, developing, and optimising backend services and RESTful APIs. Also, you will be managing and developing their user journey, creating technical specification to develop new functionality.
This role is based in north Oxford and will require you to be on site 2 days per week.
Role responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize backend services and RESTful APIs.
- Collaborate with the System Architect and other technical stakeholders to define and implement scalable solutions.
- Analyse technical requirements and produce efficient, maintainable code.
- Maintain and enhance existing systems, ensuring performance and reliability.
- Conduct thorough testing, including unit and integration tests, to ensure code quality.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and meet technical specifications.
Essential Experience:
- Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Core
- Experienced with ASP.NET Core MVC and Web API
- Experienced with Entity Framework Core and LINQ
- Proven experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs
- Understanding of API versioning documentation (e.g. Swagger)
- Proficient in SQL
- Solid understanding od Data Modelling and Database architecture
