Hire Controller / Counter Salesperson

Highly reputable Client within the permanent and temporary modular buildings and site accommodation, based in Banbury, is seeking a Hire Controller to join their dynamic team.

Being the heart of the depots, the successful person is someone willing to go the extra mile and have a strong focus on Customer service.

Job Description:

Manage hire enquiries via phone, email, or in person.

Advise Customers on suitable equipment for their needs.

Create, process and prepare quotations, hire contracts and invoices.

Handle and record all Customer enquiries.

Sourcing new business daily (development).

Ensure daily follow ups.

Prepare weekly and monthly reports.

Maintain accurate and up to date records.

Schedule deliveries and collections.

Monitor equipment availability and update all hire systems records.

Liaise with the workshop team to ensure equipment is ready for hire.

Administrative support to the hire desk.

First class Customer service!

Requirements:

GCSEs.

Previous experience as a Hire Controller within the mentioned sector.

Strong organisational and multitasking skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Knowledge of hiring systems.

Numerical.

Minimum 2 3 years working experience within the role and sector.
