Hours: Full-time (No evening shifts, alternate weekends off)
About the Role of Chef
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Chef to join our kitchen team. Working under the guidance of the Head Chef/Kitchen Manager, you will help prepare and cook delicious, nutritious meals in a well-organized, supportive environment.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being part of a team, takes pride in producing quality food, and values a healthy work-life balancewith no evening shifts and alternate weekends off.
Chef Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation, cooking, and presentation of meals to a high standard.
- Support with menu planning and contribute ideas for daily specials or seasonal dishes.
- Help with ordering, stock rotation, and minimizing food waste.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety throughout the kitchen.
- Follow instructions from the Head Chef/Kitchen Manager and work effectively as part of the team.
- Ensure dietary requirements and allergy information are followed carefully.
About You
- Previous experience working as a Chef, Cook, or similar role.
- Passion for producing tasty, well-presented food.
- A good team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations (Food Hygiene certificate desirable).
- Ability to work efficiently and remain calm in a busy kitchen.
