An established organisation is seeking an experienced Fluent Welsh Bookings Administrator to join its team based in Bangor. As a Bookings Administrator you will be responsible for:

  • Providing a professional, efficient and effective booking service for a variety of inpatients, day cases and pre-operative assessment
  • Providing and delivering an accurate and prompt administrative function to facilitate the delivery of an efficient and effective theatre booking service 
  • Receiving and responding to enquiries and referring to the appropriate department
  • Dealing with enquiries from patients and colleagues in a friendly and courteous manner
  • Processing forms and inputting data onto in house systems
  • General office/administration including making appointments
  • Dealing with highly sensitive documents in a confidential manner

We are keen to see your CV if you have the following skills or experience:

  • Previous experience within a clerical/administration role, preferably within the NHS or a medical setting
  • A compassionate and empathetic nature 
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle themselves well in stressful situations 
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong IT and organisational skills
  • Fluent Welsh speaking 

This is a temporary role for approximately 3 months with an ASAP start, working 37.5 hours a week on an hourly rate of between £12.53 p/h - £13.36 p/h dependent on experience plus holiday pay.
