The Company
Able Bridge Recruitment are thrilled to be working with a well established and rapidly growing Scottish brand in the recruitment of a finance director. The role will be office based in Stirling and will report directly into the managing director(s).

The vacancy has arisen due to the organisation setting expansion plans in place which resulted in the finance team being restructured.

The Responsibilities
The purpose of this role is to provide a robust accounting service to the owners of the business at the same time ensuring that financial controls are robust and fit for purpose. Included within the role will be month end duties as well as adhoc reporting and analysis.

On a day-to-day basis you can expect to be responsible for the following;
Management of the companies cash flow and ensure that debt is consistently managed.
Review the current process of recording transactions and implement financial controls to mitigate for non recorded transactions.
Preparation and distribution of monthly financial statements.
Oversite of the audit process and work closely with the finance director managing external stakeholder relationships.
Management of the day to day accounting operations including management of the purchase ledger, sales ledger, general ledger, inventory and revenue recognition.
Supervision of the accounts team in the absence of the finance director.

The Requirements
We expect the successful applicant to a hiighly experienced finance professional who is professionally qualified who is looking for the next step up. The role requires the individual to have significant experience analysing financial information as well as having the ability to work in partnership with the leadership team. This role is seen as a key hire withing the business and as such will have a vital part in the leadership team.
