Calling all Passionate Pub GMs... We're a growing, independent Pub Company who are looking for an experienced GM to lead the team at one of our Premium venues, The Derby in Oval/Kennington.

We are looking to hire an enthusiastic and passionate General Managerto join our growing business at a critical time and work closely with the owners to help maximise trade at this established pub which has a great reputation locally.

This pub requires a strong General Manager who has a proven track record of working in similar, premium sites, who is confident in being able to drive sales throughout the course of the week and who can maintain our high standards.

Our aim is to deliver top quality service & standards at every opportunity and we are looking for a General Manager who is equally as passionate about delivering exceptional service at all times. We are looking forsomeone whotakes pride in leading their team and who will strive to ensure that every customer leaves the pub having had a great experience, whatever the occasion.

It is extremely important that the General Manager in this site has a proven track record of being able to drive sales by planning, executing & successfullymarketing regular events including, but not restricted to Live Music, Quiz Nights, Open Mic Nights, Live Sports, etc.

An eye for detail and a passion for quality are also essential.

Outline of General Manager Responsibilities:

  • Driving Sales Execution
  • Events Planning & Promotion
  • Social Media Marketing
  • Local Marketing Campaigns
  • Recruitment & Team Management
  • Ordering & Managing Stock
  • Maintaining Service, Hygiene & Cleanliness Standards
  • Ensuring all H&S and Risk Assessments are kept up to date.

Candidates must have experience leading a team and enjoy training & developing other staff members so that they can progress their own careers within our company & the wider hospitality industry.

Candidates should ideally have previous experience at GM level in a premium Independent or Managed pub environment.

Salary: Up to £40,000 per year depending on experience

Self Contained Manager's Accommodation available.

Performance Based Bonus Structure to be Agreed.
