Job Title: Town Planner
Location: East London - hybrid working
Salary: 拢35,000 - 拢40,000, plus benefits
Contract Type: Full-time, permanent
Overview:
Carrington West are pleased to be supporting one of their clients who are actively looking for a motivated Planning Consultant to join their Consultancy team in East London. You will support both public and private sector projects, providing planning consultancy services from start to finish. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to urban regeneration projects and make a tangible impact on communities.
Responsibilities:
路Provide planning consultancy and strategic advice to clients.
路Conduct planning appraisals, pre-application consultations, and manage planning applications.
路Offer technical guidance and problem-solving support.
路Contribute to public consultation strategies.
路Mentor junior planners and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
路Assist in managing financial aspects, such as invoicing and budgets.
Skills & Qualifications:
路Proven experience in planning (2+ years), ideally in consultancy.
路Strong knowledge of planning policies and development trends.
路Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
路Ability to manage smaller projects and support larger ones.
路Team player with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
路MRTPI membership (or working towards it) is preferred.
