Primary Teaching Assistant

SANZA Teaching Agency are delighted to be working with a large, bustling primary school in Barking & Dagenham. They are currently seeking teaching assistants to support students across the school with additional needs.

As a teaching assistant, you will work on a 1:1 basis with students who have Autism, behavioural difficulties, and speech and language needs.

This is a rewarding role where you will make a real difference to children's learning and development by providing tailored support, encouragement, and care.

About you:

  • Must have recent experience supporting children with Autism, behavioural challenges, and speech & language needs.
  • Must have a solid understanding of speech, language and communication development and how to best support this
  • Be able to deliver targeted intervention activities to support of speech, language and communication developmentMust be patient, resilient, and nurturing, with a genuine commitment to helping every child succeed.
  • Be genuinely interested in using creativity and flexibility to adapt learning activities to individual needs.
