Nursery Nurse / Nursery Assistant
Location: Barking&Dagenham
Salary: £12.50 per hour (£15.00 dependent on childcare qualification).
Contract:Temp, Full-time, Part-time
Are you looking for flexible work with a passion for childcare or hoping to expand your experience in a nursery setting? We're seeking experience andqualified temporary nursery practitioners, nursery assistanton a ongoing temp basis for a busy nursery setting inBarking and Dagenham.
The ideal Nursery Practitioner should:
- Have experience working with/supporting nursery age children (0-5)
- Have a relevant Early Years qualification - level 2 or Level 3
- Be flexible, proactive and patient
- Be nurturing and caring in your approaches
- Be able to communicate effectively within a team
Requirements:
- Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare/ early years
- Have at least one consecutive year of professional childcare experience
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (we can assist with obtaining one)
- Demonstrate a dependable and diligent work ethic
- Show a genuine passion for early years, nursery, and nanny care
- Have strong communication skills and be adaptable in new environments
- Be flexible with working hours and locations
- Can you commute to Barking / Dagenham areas?

As this role is temp, it can fit fantastically around childcare and/ or another role and you can plan in advance your weekly shifts and days of work.
The typical shifts we have are 9AM-6PM & 8.30PM-5.30PM. The nursery is open all year round and is NOT term time only.
