We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Night Porter/Manager to join our team at Lartington Hall. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for our guests, providing exceptional service while maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the premises. This position is perfect for individuals who thrive in a hospitality setting and possess strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of public areas, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of weddings held on-site.
- Set up breakfast for the next morning.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.
- Monitor the condition of facilities and report any maintenance issues to management.
- Uphold company standards for safety and cleanliness at all times.
- Be responsible for the safety and security of our venue and its guests overnight.
Skills
- Strong background in hospitality or guest services is preferred.
- Familiarity with hotel operations is beneficial but not essential.
- A friendly demeanour with a genuine desire to assist others.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
