We’re working exclusively with a long-standing client to recruit a Sales Negotiator for their well-established office in Barnard Castle. This is a great opportunity to join a professional and supportive team handling a varied portfolio of residential properties.

Previous experience in estate agency is welcome but not essential. If you have a background in customer service, strong interpersonal skills, and a willingness to learn, we’d encourage you to apply.

The working hours are Monday to Thursday, 9:00am to 5:30pm; Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm; and every other Saturday, 9:00am to 1:00pm, with time off in lieu provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist visitors to the branch
  • Register applicants and maintain accurate records
  • Coordinate and follow up on property viewings
  • Handle negotiations between buyers and sellers
  • Support with property launches and marketing
  • Work with the wider team to progress sales smoothly
  • Stay up to date on the local property market

About you:

  • Experience in customer service, sales, or a client-facing role
  • Confident communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone
  • Good written skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable using IT systems and Microsoft Office
  • Organised and able to manage a varied workload
  • Team-oriented with a proactive approach
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car
  • An interest in property and the local area
