A historic accountancy practice in Barnet, are recruiting for an Audit and Accounts Senior, to join their ever expanding team. Accounts and Audit Senior Job Overview
  • The position has a rough 75/25 split between Audit and Accounts work
  • Assisting the Senior Managers with the planning of audits and completion of the detailed audit testing.
  • Reviewing and finalising financial statements and drafting Corporation tax computations.
  • Submitting approved Accounts and Corporation tax returns.
  • Preparing and submitting Self-Assessment tax returns.
  • Delegating work to our outsourced team in India and reviewing their completed work.
  • Management of some management account assignments with the objective of providing completed monthly management accounts to the Senior Managers for their review and meeting with the client.
Accounts and Audit Senior Job Requirements
  • Must be qualified with ACCA or ICAEW
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years accountancy practice experience, specialising in accounts and audit
  • Experience in CCH and Caseware cloud is beneficial. Experience in Xero and Sage is also advantageous
  • Must be comfortable commuting to Barnet, particularly during probation period
  • Excellent client management skills, including communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills
  • No requirement for visa sponsorship
Accounts and Audit Senior Salary & Benefits
  • £40,000-£55,000 salary depending on experience. This can be negotiable
  • Discretionary bonuses
  • 30 days annual leave including bank holidays, and 2 duvet days
  • Private healthcare
  • Statutory pension
  • Annual company trip - overnight stay in a European City, paid by the company
  • Hybrid working. After probation period, employees primarily working from home will be required to come into office for client/team meetings
  • Hours - 37.5 hours
