We're thrilled to find a temporary, full-time teacher to join our well-regarded Independent school in Barnet, starting this June. This is a wonderful opportunity to shape young performers and nurture self-expression across Key Stages 3 and 4 (aged 11-16), and potentially Key Stage 5.

What you'll be doing:

You'll be crafting and delivering captivating Drama lessons that explore a range of theatrical techniques, texts, and performance styles.
It's about fostering students' confidence, communication, and collaborative skills through active participation in dramatic activities.
You'll cultivate a stimulating and inclusive studio environment where every student feels empowered to take risks, explore their creativity, and develop their individual talents.

What we're looking for:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a genuine specialism in Drama or a closely related subject.
Ideally, you'll have some experience teaching engaging and effective Drama lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4.
A strong understanding of dramatic theory and practice, plus that unique ability to inspire students and facilitate creative exploration.
Excellent communication skills, strong classroom management, and a knack for creating a positive and supportive atmosphere.
