Qualifications needed consist of the below -

NVQ/ City of Guilds certificate/background

Previous Hospital, Medical Gas, Chargehand experience

Level 3 Qualified


About the company:

A well-established maintenance provider who are renowned for their prestigious contracts are currently recruiting for a Senior Multi-Skilled Engineer on a Hospitality Building in Barnet. This reputable company are big believers in promoting staff internally and are currently looking to add a strong Multi-Skilled Engineer to their team.


Responsibilities:

To ensure a safe environment for all users of the facilities; promoting a safety culture; and ensuring the team are aware of and operate in accordance with company and client H&S procedures and policies at all times. To ensure that the Permit to Work system is managed and adhered to by all personnel.

Undertaking Responsible Person/Authorised Person duties required by the provision of the contract for the disciplines for which you have been appointed. To act as a role model for the operation of the Safe Systems of Work. To participate in the call rota. To undertake training as required.

To manage approved contractors as required; to ensure that all work undertaken is covered by a suitable and sufficient RA/MS in compliance with the Safe System of Work; and to monitor all activities as delegated to ensure that they are completed in full and to the agreed standard

To ensure all company processes are followed by the engineering team, and that workload of the team is effectively managed day to day.

To carry out spot check audits on completed work to ensure that the work is completed to the required standard and that all reports are completed appropriately and as required

To assume responsibility for overseeing the M&E team at an engineering level, identifying areas for improvement and escalating any issues identified to line Manager/Management for resolve


Candidate requirements:

The ideal candidate is client facing (job activities that involve direct interaction or contact with a client or customer)

Strong Mechanical and Electrical background

Previous experience as an Engineer
