A passionate and fluent FrenchTeacher is required to join a well-regarded Independent school in Barnet for a permanent position commencing in September. Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging FrenchTeacher lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Develop students' skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing in French.
  • Assess and monitor student progress in French, providing effective feedback to support their language acquisition.
  • Contribute to the promotion of French language and culture within the school through extracurricular activities and cultural events.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in French.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching FrenchTeacher lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Native or near-native fluency in French and a strong understanding of French-speaking cultures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of motivating students to learn a foreign language and appreciate cultural diversity.
