A passionate and fluent French Teacher is required for a permanent full-time position at an Outstanding mixed school in Barnet, commencing in September. This is an excellent opportunity to cultivate a love of the French language and culture in students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (aged 11-16) within a supportive and high-achieving environment.

Responsibilities

You will plan and deliver engaging French lessons that develop students' listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
The role involves fostering an appreciation for French culture and encouraging students to communicate confidently in the language.
You will cultivate a dynamic and interactive classroom environment where students feel motivated to participate and develop their linguistic abilities.

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in French is essential.
Native or near-native fluency in French is expected.
Experience teaching engaging and effective French lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4 is highly desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, alongside strong classroom management and the ability to inspire a passion for languages, are vital.
