Roofing Estimator - Flat & Pitched Roofs

Salary: 75,000 - 85,000 per annum
Type: Full-time, Permanent

We are seeking an experienced Roofing Estimator to join a well-established contractor in Barnet, specialising in both flat and pitched roofing projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in roofing who is confident pricing works from enquiry through to submission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate estimates and quotations for flat and pitched roofing projects.

• Analyse tender documentation and project requirements.

• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.

• Assess labour, material, and time requirements to produce costings.

• Work closely with the contracts team to ensure smooth handover from estimating to delivery.

• Visit sites to carry out surveys and assessments as needed.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an estimator within a roofing company or roofing contractor.

• Strong technical knowledge of both flat and pitched roofing systems.

• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.
