SEN Support Assistant

Veritas are currently working with a secondary school in Westminster The school require a SEN Support Assistant to work in class with SEN students, majority with ASD. Having experience dealing with challenging behaviour and being proactive in your approach to these students is key. The school will consider candidates with support/HCA backgrounds that have a keen interest in supporting these young individuals.
The school is located close to a mainline train station and various local bus routes. There is parking available at this school. This role starts in Sept 2020 and will be contract with Veritas for 1 year.There is potential for the contract to be transferred directly with the school in to the following academic year.
SEN Support Assistant - Key skills:
- Experience working with SEN children age 11-18 in either a school or care setting
- Professional / friendly approach
- Enthusiastic and resilient
- Experience managing challenging behaviour
