A dedicated and inspiring MathematicsTeacher is required for a temporary full-time position at a well-regarded Independent school in Barnet, commencing as soon as possible. The successful candidate will cultivate a love for mathematics and develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills in students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (aged 11-16).
Responsibilities
- They will plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
- The role involves effectively teaching mathematical concepts, adhering to the school's curriculum.
- They will foster a supportive and challenging classroom environment that encourages mathematical reasoning and exploration.
- Assessment and monitoring of student progress in Mathematics, along with providing feedback, will be required.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Mathematics is essential.
- Experience teaching Mathematics lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4 is desirable.
- A solid understanding of mathematical concepts is expected.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills are necessary.
