Are you a passionate linguist with a flair for inspiring students? We're seeking a fluent Spanish Teacher to join our well-regarded Independent mixed school in Barnet on a temporary, full-time basis, starting as soon as possible. This is a brilliant opportunity to cultivate a genuine love for the Spanish language and culture in our students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (aged 11-16).
What you'll be doing:
- You'll be planning and delivering engaging Spanish lessons, helping students master their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
- It's about fostering a true appreciation for Spanish culture and empowering students to communicate confidently in the language.
- You'll create a dynamic and interactive classroom where students feel motivated to participate and truly develop their linguistic abilities.
What we're looking for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Spanish.
- Native or near-native fluency in Spanish is, of course, essential.
- Experience teaching engaging and effective Spanish lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4 is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, strong classroom management, and that special ability to inspire a passion for languages.
