SANZA Teaching Agency is delighted to be supporting a highly regarded independent school in Barnet, who are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Music Teacher to cover teaching across Reception to Year 6 for the first half of the autumn term.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a specialist Music Teacher to inspire pupils across the school and deliver engaging, creative lessons that foster a love of music.

? About the Role:

Teach Music across the full primary age range (Reception - Year 6).

Plan and deliver engaging lessons that develop pupils' skills in rhythm, singing, notation, and instrumental work.

Encourage creativity, confidence, and enjoyment of music in every class.

Prepare and lead singing assemblies, rehearsals, and small performances as needed.

Collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuity and high-quality provision across the curriculum.

A qualified Music Teacher (QTS/QTLS or equivalent) with experience teaching across the primary phase.

Strong subject knowledge and passion for inspiring young learners through music.

Ability to adapt teaching to suit a wide range of ages and abilities.

Organised, creative, and confident in leading singing and class-based music-making.
