Are you a dynamic Business Studies Teacher with a flair for inspiring future leaders and entrepreneurs? We're thrilled to find a permanent, full-time teacher to join our Outstanding mixed school in Barnet this September. This is an exceptional opportunity to delve into the principles of business, shaping our students' commercial awareness and analytical skills across Key Stages 4 and 5 (aged 14-18).
What you'll be doing:
- You'll be designing and delivering captivating lessons in Business Studies, covering everything from marketing and finance to human resources and operations.
- It's about sparking entrepreneurial spirit and honing students' ability to dissect real-world business challenges.
- You'll cultivate a stimulating and interactive classroom where students feel empowered to discuss current affairs and develop their critical thinking about the commercial world.
What we're looking for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Business Studies or a closely related field.
- Experience teaching engaging and effective Business Studies lessons at Key Stages 4 and 5 is highly desirable.
- A deep and current understanding of business concepts, plus a keen awareness of contemporary issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, alongside strong classroom management, are key.
