Responsibilities
- You will plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons that explore a range of physical and human geographical concepts, fostering students' curiosity about the world.
- The role involves expertly guiding students through geographical enquiry, map skills, and the analysis of complex global issues.
- You will cultivate a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment where students feel empowered to explore different perspectives and develop their critical thinking skills.
- You will assess and monitor student progress with care, providing constructive feedback that encourages their geographical understanding and analytical abilities.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Geography is essential.
- Experience teaching engaging and effective Geography lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4 is highly desirable.
- A deep and current understanding of geographical concepts and contemporary global challenges is expected.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, alongside strong classroom management, are vital.
