Tradewind Recruitment is seeking passionate and experienced SEND Teaching Assistants to support the Additional Resourced Provision (ARP) at a welcoming primary school in Barnet, North-West London.

The Role:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with autism and neurodiverse needs
  • Work with the SENDCo and specialist teachers to meet EHCP targets
  • Support social and communication skill development
  • Help create a positive, inclusive learning environment
  • Use de-escalation and positive behaviour strategies

  • Experience supporting SEND children, especially with autism and social-emotional needs
  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive attitude
  • Strong communication skills to work with staff, families, and professionals
