General Operative

Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are currently recruiting:

We are looking for General Operatives to join our client who are based in Barnsley.

These are permanent positions.

Rate of pay is 12.42 per hour.

In this role, you will ensure that all products entering and leaving our client's site, meeting high-quality standards and customer specifications, while strictly adhering to all company policies and procedures.

This will suit applicants who come from an engineering background.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout the facility.
• Work efficiently to meet strict company deadlines and targets.
• Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations.
• Follow production schedules to achieve dispatch target dates.
• Operate electrical grinding tools and automated lifting equipment safely.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are used correctly and safely.
• Always Wear the correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Perform various labouring duties around the facility.
• Inspect all incoming goods to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Consistently adhere to HSE and company policies.
• Take on additional duties as required to support the team.
