Your new companyAre you ready to take your career to the next level? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Team Leader to join our client on a permanent full-time basis. This role offers a unique blend of leadership, strategic oversight, and cross-department collaboration, making it an exceptional opportunity for the right candidate. The role will include overseeing the precision and reliability of sales ledger, purchase ledger, and payroll data across all systems. Your new role

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the transactional Finance Team.
  • Oversee the accuracy of payroll data, sales ledger, purchase ledger
  • Serve as the key liaison between the Finance Department and other business areas.
  • Foster open communication and effective relationship management.
  • Regularly review finance systems and processes.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and data accuracy.
  • Maintain and manage IT systems within the Finance Department.
  • Prepare and present monthly financial reports, including KPIs and reconciliation of invoicing accounts, for Senior Management Team meetings.
  • Ensure sales, costs, and payroll are properly handled, accounted for, and reported in line with statutory requirements.

What you will need to succeedTo succeed in this role, you will have over three years of experience in a Finance Department, with extensive expertise in Sage 50 Accounts. You should have a proven ability to lead, motivate, and influence teams to achieve their objectives. Experience in managing a team or in a team leader/supervisor capacity is essential, overseeing transactional finance duties.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills, coupled with a customer-centric approach, are essential. Additionally, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and adeptness at handling high-volume data processing will be crucial.
