We are currently looking for an Estimating Assistant to join our client based in Barnsley.

Estimating Assistant

Mon to Fri 8:30am to 5pm

Our client in Barnsley are looking for an experience Construction Estimating Assistant to support the estimating department with administrative report, record keeping, document coordination and assisting with bid preparations.

Applicants MUST have construction experience and some estimation knowledge.

You will receive:

What will the Estimating Assistant be doing

  • Setting up new tenders
  • Document management of tender documents and estimating folders
  • Managing tender amendments and updating documentation
  • Preparing supply chain enquiries including compiling of work packages
  • Responding to queries
  • Supply chain quotation deadlines
  • Assisting the estimation team with all other administrative support


What we are looking for in the Estimating Assistant?

  • MUST have previous experience/knowledge in Construction
  • Strong organisational knowledge
  • Proficient in Microsoft Packages
  • Experience with ConQuest is advantageous
