We are seeking two skilled Joiners to join our Property Services team, assisting with the delivery of major void works and planned repairs. This role involves working on various large-scale joinery projects across our Major Void Backlog and In-Year Programme, as well as assisting with various Planned Repairs Projects for both empty and occupied social housing properties.
Day-to-day of the role:- Removal and renewal of kitchens (standard or adapted).
- Removal and renewal of bathrooms, shower rooms, and wet rooms, typically working as part of a two-man team alongside a plumber.
- Conducting both internal first fix and second fix joinery.
- Installation and repair of fascias, soffits, and guttering.
- Installing garage doors, including frames.
- Performing a variety of joinery repairs such as floor boarding, door ease/renew, and kitchen unit repairs.
- Assisting other trades as needed, which may include general labouring and rubbish removal.
- Traveling to various sites as required, with a works vehicle provided after initial reporting to the depot.
- Proven experience in joinery, capable of carrying out a wide range of tasks to a high standard with attention to detail.
- Confidence in basic plumbing tasks is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Flexibility to assist with other trades or tasks as required.
- Competitive hourly rate of £19.13, paid via Umbrella.
