This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and fast-paced legal team, where your organisational skills and legal knowledge will contribute to the smooth operation of our practice. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support senior legal staff by transcribing dictations and preparing legal documents (both audio and written).
  • Draft, edit, and review legal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
  • Conduct and verify client statements, ensuring accurate documentation of relevant information.
  • Review and organise medical records for use in legal proceedings.
  • Manage client communication, handling emails, calls, and correspondence professionally and promptly.
  • Act as the first point of contact for clients, providing exceptional service and timely responses.
  • Direct incoming telephone calls to the appropriate contacts efficiently.
  • Maintain organised digital and physical filing systems for easy document retrieval.
  • Coordinate appointments and schedules, resolving any potential conflicts proactively.
  • Perform general administrative duties to support daily operations.
  • Assemble and prepare court bundles for hearings and trials.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Legal Secretary, preferably within the Wills and Probate sector.
  • Fast and accurate typing and transcription skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities in a high-volume environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
