Elevation is seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for a multi-million-pound plc business in Barnsley.
The role offers a salary of £43,000 and requires at least 3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance.
The position involves both preventative and reactive maintenance, attending to breakdowns, and participating in continuous improvement projects.
Candidates must have at least Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering and manufacturing experience, with the ability to work on a rotating shift schedule.

Elevation have the pleasure of working with an industry leading, multi-million-pound plc business based in Barnsley who are looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer.Salary: £43,000Location: BarnsleyHours: 1st week- Mon, Tues, Sat, Sun 6am till 4pm, 2nd week- Mon to Fri 8am till 4.30pm

Duties of an Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:

Being proactive within the job focussing on preventative maintenance as well as reactive maintenance of the infrastructure and Control Systems.
Attending to breakdowns
Actively working on a continual improvement project to ensure yourself and the company are the best it can be
Working on CMMS system daily

Desired experience:

You must have at least Level 3 or above in Mechanical Engineering (City and Guilds or NVQ based)
Ideally have 3 years experience as an Mechanical Maintenance Engineer previously
Must have manufacturing experience.
