We are seeking a skilled Plasterer to join our team, providing professional, high-quality craftsmanship and customer-oriented services to both internal and external customers. This role requires excellent organisational skills, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and a strong commitment to health and safety standards.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Prepare areas for plastering, including the removal and covering of furniture.
  • Remove old plaster from walls and ceilings and apply new lightweight plasters.
  • Apply sand/cement and polymer insulating render to exterior walls.
  • Fix plasterboard to walls and ceilings, including over-boarding.
  • Apply plasters in special circumstances such as damp proofing and wet rot.
  • Liaise with other employees, tenants, and managers, and assist across various trades.
  • Maintain vehicle stock levels to ensure service efficiency.
  • Submit all worksheets and documents related to the job within required timescales.
  • Carry out additional duties such as Driver/Labourer as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • NVQ Level 2 in Plastering or equivalent qualification is essential.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Plastering or willingness to work towards gaining the qualification is essential.
  • Demonstrable experience in plastering work within repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment projects.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety procedures relevant to construction work.
  • Ability to work at heights and organise personal workload effectively.
  • Current driving license and ability to travel as necessary for the role.
  • Basic IT skills and experience using mobile and digital technology for work management.
