About the Role:We are seeking a results-driven and technically astute Product Manager to take ownership for the on-going development of clay product ranges. This pivotal role will be responsible for leading the development or new and existing products, ensuring alignment with business objectives, market demand and manufacturing capabilities.
With a sound understanding of construction materials and strong experience in product development, you will play a central role in shaping the product roadmap, championing innovation, and driving profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and manage the product roadmap in alignment with company strategy and market trends.
- Act as the voice of the customer by gathering feedback, conducting site visits, and supporting sales with technical expertise.
- Ensure all products meet relevant industry regulations, standards, and certifications.
- Provide comprehensive training and product technical support to internal teams.
- Conduct market analysis to identify customer needs, competitive positioning, and emerging trends.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, sales, and marketing to drive successful product development and launches.
- Oversee the full product lifecycle, from concept through to obsolescence, including updates and redesigns.
- Manage and support complaint resolution.
What We’re Looking For:
- Knowledge and understanding of clay-based construction products.
- Proven experience in Product Management within the construction or building products manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of design principles and installation methods for building and civil products.
- Demonstrated success in research, innovation, and New Product Introduction (NPI).
- Financial acumen with experience managing product financial performance.
