Are you a detail-oriented quality professional with a passion for maintaining high product standards? Elevation Recruitment Group are working with one of the UK’s leading importers and wholesalers who are looking for a Quality Control Technician to join their fast-paced team.
In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the quality and compliance of our wide-ranging product portfolio, working closely with our buying, sales, and overseas supply partners.
Key Responsibilities- Review and approve product packaging artworks.
- Update packaging with correct instructions and mandatory warnings.
- Approve pre-production samples for new product lines.
- Investigate and resolve product quality issues and customer complaints.
- Perform goods-in quality control (QC) checks.
- Provide technical QC support to the buying and sales teams, including answering customer queries.
- Liaise with overseas suppliers to ensure quality and compliance.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure continuous improvement.
- Investigate high product return or damage rates and recommend solutions.
- Assist with registering and managing own-brand trademarks.
- Experience in a busy QA or QC environment.
- Highly organized and able to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong record-keeping abilities.
- Excellent proofreading and written English skills.
- Confident using Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong communicator, able to work effectively across teams and with international partners.
